Wow. What a week it’s been.
After months of planning, testing, praying, and pouring (literally), Scent with a Script officially launched—and I’m still catching my breath. Starting this business has been a dream rooted deep in my heart, and seeing it come to life has been both humbling and exciting.
Here’s a little glimpse into what my first week looked like:
🕯️ The Launch Day
I hit the “publish” button on my website, heart racing, candles packed and ready, and not knowing what to expect. Within hours, the first orders started rolling in. Friends, family, and even complete strangers were supporting something I poured my soul into. I cried. (Happy tears.)
✨ Learning in Real-Time
From printing shipping labels to packing orders with love and care, everything felt like a first. I triple-checked addresses, prayed over each package, and made sure each candle reflected the heart behind this brand—faith, peace, comfort, and beauty.
I learned quickly that running a business means wearing a lot of hats. I was the candle maker, the customer service rep, the marketing team, and the shipping department—all in one. Exhausting? Yes. Worth it? Every bit.

Every message, every “I love this scent,” and every repost on social media meant the world. Some of you shared how the verses touched your hearts. Others told me how soothing the candles made your space feel. That’s the mission in action—and it’s just the beginning.
